There is no device that is flawless..everything has an issue or 2..this update seemed to be delayed by Google and Sprint...

Some people are returning their device because they are at an end of their 30 days and want some of the issues fixed but do not want to risk the possibility that they aren't..some may cancel tomorrow only to it again the day after...

my 30 was up two days ago as is any 1 else who got it on launch day and I'm holding on to this phone till all issues get ironed out or till the next device I'm interested in comes out .. shoot I'm still running DG27 & don't care about updates at this point since my issues on epic #5 are at this point only the fact I can't put it down .

Just slapped that bad boy on my SD card, changed the name to update.zip and rebooted accordingly....installed without a glitch.

No...I had to return my first Epic to BB last night (my screen blanked out for some odd reason). I was within 30 days so that cracked up the vault and handed me a new one.

Since I knew the update was coming I held off on rooting.

I think someone at XDA is working on a update that doesn't break root.
