Epic wont see my tp2 wifi

Ok... trying to enjoy my new epic. I have to wait for Oct 1st to activate it since Im n Sero. Anyways, I am launching my tp2 wifi sharing tool from htc but the Epic wont find it. Also I tried wifirouter and still wont show up in my epic wifi spots. It detects other wifi spots but tgey are all Locked. Anyone got it to go?

It has to be an infrastructure connection and the tp2's wifi is adhoc. Pretty sure thats it bud.

There is an issue where for AD HOC networks is uses N with no backwards compatibility for A/B/G...If you really need it you can load up android 2.2 on your TP2 and use the Infer-structure internet sharing..that would work. (as long as it has support for it..you gotta double check there as Ive never tried it)

Thats terrible. So its a no go for tp2 sharing. Maybe someone else has new info? Post it here if you do..

Well as I said..if you run the Android port on the TP2 it will work...aside from that either samsung has to release an update or the community has to make a hack for it.

ohhhh! I understand. I thought you said put 2.2 onthe epic. So using the latest xandroid will possible work? And what was your main reason u dont have a epic? this thing is amazing. Thbis is finally a iphone killer but without retina. but samoled does have beautiful colors retina cannot match..

Did you get one from ebay etc. Or were you able to use a sprint upgrade while still on a sero plan?

lol...Yeah but I know sometimes my "Pocket PC:" thing next to my name disappears sometimes for unknown reasons and comes back here and there...its weird like that >.>
