Re: Permanent root and one click root for the Samsung Epic 4g
Yesterday I gave 2.2.6 a shot from 2.2.4 for the Super User capability...(which pretty much lets you control which apps have root access and which don't)
And I got that "no device" error even though get-state showed a device...looks like a solution for this is to do: adb kill-server soft reset the phone and try again and it worked..so if anyone experiences this with the new root its something to try. |

Re: Permanent root and one click root for the Samsung Epic 4g
No matter what I do, it keeps showing offline in adb devices. I just can't seem to get it to work. The three drivers are installed and in their respectful locations in device manager. Suggestions?

Re: Permanent root and one click root for the Samsung Epic 4g
I am on Windows 7. I was trying with my laptop, became frustrated. Finally, I switched to a PC when I got home, also running Windows 7, and it worked the first time. It must be my laptop.
Anyway, thanks! |
