Does this flash the rom or the kernel?

Hmm..I just flashed it on stock DK28 thats rooted and clockworked and it failed...ended up in an endless loop "samsung logo" loop...does the rom need to be deodoxed for this to work?

Also, just in case if you got this working, can you provide an md5 checksum for it?

I had no ill effects since flashing the governor killer... first I installed DK28 I didn't install the tar one. I used the deodex version because I still use DK17 modem. As of today, I used the tar and of course I flashed DK28 modem first...now, I'm using Midnight Rom on top of that... and I didn't flash this mod until after that. Maybe...can you use Astro for the checksum? I will check.

Probably so... It worked for me on Midnight Rom. I'm not a fan of custom roms either but I thought I'd give this one a try and it's off the chain.. No fancy icons or anything like that.. just the real deal.. I never seen better.

Midnight Rom is Deodoxed..

I have nothing against custom roms..just waiting for official froyo to hit or a rom and kernel compiled from source...then I plan on cleaning up my sd card and formatting a portion to ext so that I can store all my "extra" apps on there...then I'll be free to flash roms as I please..till then I'm fine with stock...mostly since I'm a little busy lately with work

Edit: The ACS stock rom is Deodoxed..so if people used that for DK28 stock it should work...(but haven't tested it)

I never said I had anything against custom roms. I said I was NOT a fan of custom roms. And yes... there's a difference. I'm just saying... anyway... if you can test those roms and report here if necessary that would make this thread a valuable asset to the Epic community. Thanks.

Yup, as I said, worked flawlessly on ACS stock rom...aka it should work on a rom if its Deodoxed...did a speed test and got 1.2mbit upload which is higher then my usual 1 mbit...

now gonna do a few tests for my research and clockwork back..

i installed this using clockwork, using midnight rom. i see no difference.
