All I did was flash the rom and then restore data in clockwork. I'm going to bed...I'll mess with it in the morning.

BTW its nice having a chef here on PPCG. Most of the stuff here is just re-posted from xda. Keep up the good work bro, I personally love the themes you make. I'll try the full version in the morning and PM you if I have any more problems.

my baseband version says dk17 but did say dk28 at one time so no clue whats going on. my data/calls are fine plus i herd data wont work w/o dk28 modem is that true? i did odin it twice but still dk17.

Maybe I need to put the following information in the 1st.

When going from V1 to V1.1 I would suggest a factory reset along with 3'sx wipe and davik.

What I found that going from the full version to the lite needed a reboot after 1st full boot into the rom. Why ? Had weird screen issues till I did a reboot. Running the lite version since 16:00 hrs yesterday without any FC or screen issues. Also you might try a reflash. If any of you had or have a TP2 with a custom rom. Then you will remember task29 used to wipe any remaining data from previous roms flashed. I also suggest that anyone switching from one chefs rom to another, to flash the rom at least twice if not 3x's.

If this message is FUBAR'd, it because I am work and it took me 1 hour to finish the message. In short, don't give on the rom if you haven't followed the above FUBAR'd message.

Flashing the full version right now. Two issues I had with the lite version.

1-Using ROM Manager to reboot would bring me into stock recovery instead of Clockwork.
2-Swype was not there.

Fogot you in the previous message. Which rom are you using? Just check my phone and it shows S

700.0.5S.DK28 in baseband version.

Not sure about data and phone calls at the same time. But if I remember correct, last I received a call while download a large file from XDA. I had to reset the DL a 2nd time after the call finished.

Reflashed lite version and did what you said ... rebooted right away after initial boot. Then ran clockwork data restore and its all good.

But Swype is missing from the lite version.

It's not missing, you need to go into setting and check Swype to have it show and an option. But I will check it out right after I verify that the full version is working correct. Back soon

sorry op my question was a general question, my info.(after odin modem/pit) says dk17 but it used to say dk28 but i went back to dk17 to fix gps then to dk28 which passed odin and reset but info. still says dk17 which is confusing the hell outa me.

I know what I did wrong. I went into the menu and selected Swype, but the next thing you have to do (which I forgot) is open a dialog box and long press. It gives you a popup to select input method and then you select Swype. I already replaced it with the themed Swype keyboard from here:

I'd like to go back to yours. Either I reflash the rom or can you post something here that I can use to reinstall your keyboard?
