imo this is best EF rom i have used to date, everything i have tried works like a EC build. gps lock was very fast and it locked with no tweaks and thats a first for me. not that im all into quadrant scores but i just got a 3800 overclocked at 1250. wifi/wired tether also works with no hiccups.

Is there something wrong with 4G on this ROM? I've been on Marcusant's old V7 for a while, but it's really laggy, and shuts down once a day, and sometimes while using GPS for some reason... been a good daily driver all in all, but I'm ready to upgrade from EC05 to one of the EF Roms... i3 didn't sound any less buggy than V7 so I've waited, but this looks like it could be a winner... as long as 4G and GPS are functional, and it's not random resetting all the time, I can live with most else, including themes...

im not using that wifi app, im using pre 14 wifi apk and im tethered now posting from lappy running 4g.

in my area i have better luck with EF02.

How is battery life? That has been my major problem with EF02. Good to hear that GPS is working great on here though. I think I will bite and flash this when I get home from work.

hell ya its worth flashing and i carry extra battery since there like 5$ on ebay. you need the ACS updater app.

I was using EC05 on Marcusant's old V7 before switching to EF02 on this current ROM... have not had it running long enough to comment on battery life but will edit this post when I have more concrete data... so far, this is a much faster than smoother ROM than the old Anonymous series... if I don't overclock, should I see much of a difference between EF02 and EC05? What are the advantages of one modem vs the other? Thx

Can we have a non-themed version of Bamboozle? Love the ROM but not a fan of the color blue (sorry blue).....think a lot people would really enjoy this. Thanks for your hard work and ty for making my epic, EPIC!

ok, touchwiz just flashed non-stop whenever I go to it.. then the flashing slows down. after 30 seconds or so, it actually starts to display things. any ideas?

I took a look at cwm4, some people are working on a port (teaser?). I just noticed that it id also edify, so it WILL work. I will update the rom to the new lockscreen mod and fix VVM. Please use a gingerbread modem or else battery life will suck. Latest CWM is the purple one. New one wont be pink or purple. If you dont like this rom, use a different one. I am doing this for free and i am 13. Overclock kills battery. End of rant.

1) google voice is no longer fowarding any of my calls/txt to my phone (I have google integration on)
2) it's 101 or so here and I can't charge the battery cause the battery is to hot!

1) the rom doesn't effect that, that is on googles servers
2) that is a new feature in GB that I keep in the rom for safety

yeah, something has to be up with them. no sms are forwarding to my phone and only 1 in 3 calls are going through to my phone. this sucks. I want to take the kiddo to the beach, but mama bird won't let me with out a phone!

hows the battery life on this? ever since switching to randomrom 2.2.1.+ it has been the best battery life my epic has seen. i would love to go back to gb but battery life is more important. i have not even had to calibrate the battery once with randomrom.

well im overclocked at 1300 and tethering (wifi) and charging battery and ya its hot but not shutting down so maybe its user error or you got lots of stuff open in background. its a really simple fix to jump to a EC rom if your that unhappy and dont forget these are leaked builds.

I also have the battery to hot issue, but I had it on Anonymousrom I3 also. I think it started right when I started to use any GB Rom. Take your battery into a Sprint repair center, and have them run a Cadex test on your battery. They are going to want to run a Slate test on your phone also, do not let them do this, as they will know your phone is rooted right away. You only want a battery test. You also want to have this done as soon as it happens, because Sprint will only replace your battery free of charge if
A) It is under the original 1yr warranty from purchase date of original Epic
B) You are currently paying for the Total Equipment Protection plan or at least the $4 Equipment Service & Repair plan
If BOTH of these requirements are not met, your battery must be paid for.
I don't know if others are having this issue on GB themes only or if it is just because most batteries are now reaching about a year of use and are starting to deteriorate.

It could have simply been my phone that did it, because I gave my battery to my gf and it still happens in her phone. Now her battery in my phone is giving same error. I needed to have both swapped out.
I just wanted to give a bit of info for the battery post.

I have a question tho, I am getting stuck in Airplane mode and wanted to know if anyone has found a way to fix it without re-installing the Rom? I wipe my phone out a lot playing with themes and Roms, this stupid airplane mode thing is driving me crazy tho. It is almost 3x a day lately. I have tried to just wipe cache and dalvik. I also tried EF02 / EF10 modems, as well as EC05. I even tried to turn off airplane mode and pull battery while it is trying to restart services, which worked 2x for me.

How did I not know that Bamboozle was blue? Marcusant, why don't you have me test for you? I test for 70% of the people "over there." Why am I not visiting PPCG more? Why am I talking to myself? Time to start downloading. AA I3 was great for me. EE03 seems to be the lost modem in the bunch but seems (at least for me) to be the best of both worlds.. 4G data speed and GPS wise. I am one of the people involved in the Hotspot hack testing. There will be more to test on Monday so hopefully its close on 4G!

I was using the rom, and it was working great, but I keep getting the stuck in airplane mode. I think this is a problem with all the GB leaks. I think I'm going to stay on EC builds for now. I love all the leaks and they were working great, but it sucked when you go to use the phone and its stuck in airplane mode. I'll be looking forward for an official GB rom from Marcus though.

I had the air plane mode issue too.

As for my battery, I've got 5 batteries and have gone through 2 epics and I see this issue all the time, I charge the phone all night long, unplug it and it immediately drops to 80% ot 70% or 66% as it did today.
