hmm..it seems the kernel has the 100mhz step on by default ha? then yeah that can definitely cause shutdowns/lockups on some phones...

As for setcpu..I thought setcpu didnt work well with the sgs phones?

Has anyone had voltage control work with the twilight kernel? It doesn't for me, so I went back to the ol trusty Genocide.

soon as twilight started having issues (gten/steve) i jumped ship and never looked back.

Before I updated from the previous version I was having the same problem..my phone will randomly lose signal or network connections. I cant make or receive calls, text or the internet. The previous version worked prior to Monday and I updated last night thinking that might fix the prob. Should I flash back to stock or try something else?

what modem you running? i would still odin back to stock for a day to see if issues are still there cause sounds like something your doing after flashing, what are you installing after flash?

I thought that too...so I did a fresh install of the rom and didnt run titanium to restore backed up of user apps and I still have the problem. The modem I have installed is EC05. This just start happening Monday, I didnt install any new software. I had been on 1.0.1 for months with no problem. I will go back to stock tonight and see if the problem persists. thanks

It might be a PRL issue..you may have had older PRL that worked betetr but once you reflashed the rom and booted up it downloaded newer PRL which ended up being worse for you...

im liking EE modem much better and as gten said update profile/prl.
