I am currently running Baked Snack 1.3 Hero_Over Rom** which uses Hypnotic2010's custom kernel. Will that kernel work on this ROM or do I need to flash the stock DI18 kernel before flashing this ROM?

I know it doesn't have a kernel, but I got the impression from some of the other posts that certain kernels don't work as well with this ROM as others. That's why I was curious if anyone know if the kernel in the baked_snack ROM causes any problems with this ROM or if I should flash the stock DI18 kernel. I'm just going to make a backup and flash this and see what happens.

I apologize if I keep asking n00bish questions, but I just want to make sure I know what I am doing before I do it. The xda thread about the Experience ROM says that the Phoenix kernel gives the best battery life. So to flash this ROM and the Phoenix kernel first I need to flash the kernel in CWM and then flash the new ROM? Or is it the other way around?
