Its Official: No WP7S for HD2

Looks like its all official now, the HD2 will not be getting an official update to Phone 7, doesn't mean it won't get updated though...

Kinda what I thought. Wonder what it'll do to HD2 sales here in the US when it launches

I'm still going to get it. Call me crazy but I can't wait until next christmas season to get a new phone. My TP2 is the best phone I ever owned but I have to get a taste of that Snapdragon processor and huge screen. If it doesn't get WP7 then thats fine too because I'll be tired of the HD2 by then. In the meantime I'll be running some really cool WP7 skins flawlessly untill it drops.

i know what you mean. but it's gonna replace my bb, i'm still keeping sprint and my tp2!

it might not be official, but i give it a couple weeks for it to be running some version of WP7 thanks to ppc and xda

I dont think they will be able right away. It's not like just porting 6.5 to the touch pro. This is a whole new locked down OS. I hope I'm wrong though

+1 here, it'd be nice but I don't expect it to be an easy task for the devs

I know we're way off topic at this point but pocketnow actually has a video demo of the HD2 and it looks amazingly responsive

go into a tmobile store and see if they have one you can play with. The store I went to in Houston had one to try out and it was freaking fast, responsive, and all around awesome device.
