ive always liked these guns

specially the remington model 700 .308....something about sniper rifles I love!

I dont see how anyone could justify taking things like that with themselves.. I'm extremely sorry to hear that, and I hope you guys don't have any more problems.. You're in my prayers.. hopefully that emergency 911 will come in handy soon, huh? Hope you're ok

mike - im glad u guys are ok. Let me know if you need anything. Also I just got a new Mogul not too long ago and was going to sell my 6700, but if you guys need one let me know. I havent posted a lot, but I have gained a lot of knowledge and ideas from you and everyone else here. That knowledge is more valuable than a couple hundred bucks and I would be glad to just send it to you. Also if you want any help trying to track your stuff down (and the thieves) send me a pm here or send me an im or email at jfol01@yahoo.com. I do some private investigating work now and live in SC. I would be glad to see if I could help any.

Mike & Court, I'm sorry this happened to you. Material things can be replaced - life cant.
Based on whats been posted so far, this doesnt seem like a random burglary. It seems like they knew exactly what they were coming there for. Court posted that the landlord was providing new locks. Locks do not prevent things like this from happening.

Before replacing the items that were taken, I hope you both consider getting an alarm; one that involves the police / fire dept responding within minutes.

They wore masks? Very possible its someone you know.
