Just the other dsay (2 days ago) I did exactly that. Went thru all my instant emails notifications and cleared up like 30!!!! NOw I have like 4. Its definately a good idea.

You need to put the full URL in the link of your notice. If you visit www.ppcgeeks.com, the notice is the only thing you get and it will try to send you to www.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=47781 which doesn't exist, and thus all you keep getting is the notice to read this thread!

never have liked the E-mail notifications, kills the bandwidth defeats the purpose of the subscription post in the user CP

Your's are all deleted.

I changed the option for everyone to "No Subscriptions", it was set to subscribe everyone to every thread they've ever posted it (without email notifications unless you request it).
