Site Problems Today 06/25/08

The site is having some issues right now, and we think its because of the release of the Vogue update and having it hosted on our FTP. There are links to the file on a few other forums and it is probably bogging down this server and causing connections to time out.

We might have to throttle the FTP or limit the number of connections to it in order to keep the site up.

EDIT:

I had to pull the two links on our FTP because it was bogging down our server and making the site unreachable.

I will change the filenames back in a little bit if things seem to get better.

Please DO NOT re-upload the ROM to our FTP for the time being.

Good to know it wasn't something more serious! Being on the irc channel was getting a bit boring...

Thanks frost!

The server load just shot up A LOT. It went from about 3 up to almost 15.

Ya know what would be helpfull? So folks can decide to upload/download...how about some sort of network/site usage meter somewhere? Just because I know that I do not want to attempt to upload anything to the ftp to have it get bogged down and timeout. I just think that would be a usefull tidbit for geeks! :)
