I'm trying out a new style for the WAP page.

Please report back if you like it or not. I think it adds more functionality than the one we're currently using.

Took a little longer to load, but other from that I like it. Looks more like the real site making it easier to search and browse the site.

That's good. Once we get more feedback I might make the wap link point to that style instead of the current one we're using.

yes it took longer to load for mee as well, but i honestly cant tell one single difference between this and the normal site... what differences are we looking for? are there comparison shots maybe?

I believe this one gives you the ability to reply to PMs (I don't think you could in the old version), I think you can also use Quick Reply in this version, and also access your full UserCP.

EDIT: I also think you can download attachments with the new version...it also adds some features for the Mods too.

I think what naut meant is he can't tell the difference between WAP and the standard Marvel2 theme. I noticed the same thing, but then I clicked the link from my desktop. Maybe it looks different on my phone.

Just tested it on my phone, and it still looks just like the Marvel2 theme. What is the difference between the new WAP and Marvel2?

This is what it looks like on my desktop...it should look like this on your phone as well.

You have to use the link above, not the normal WAP link.

Are you trying to download attachments to a post or a file from the FTP?

For example, try to download the image I attached a few posts up and see if it works.

I went to that link on my desktop and now I can't view it normally. How to I go back to normal view. I don't like the color scheme at all on my desktop or phone. It's too garrish. Should be more plain IMO.

At the bottom of the page there's a link to go back to the default style. Its hard to see since its a blue link on a blue background.

I will try to work on the CSS file tomorrow.

Its still not the best looking WAP site, but I just worked on the CSS to make it a little more like this main/default style.

i just noticed this as well, looks much better imo... only possible suggestion i would make is to change the color of links when shown on screen. they 'blend' in too well with the color blue used and sorta get washed out. (hope that makes sense)

I can try, I just gotta figure out if the links are in the CSS file anywhere, otherwise I'll have to add them.

yaeh!

A nitpick is that when you goto 'new posts' the colors alternate nicely. But I don't get why they don't alernate every post. It seems like there is some other logic to the shading that I can't figure out.

But I do like getting to do downloads in mini mode now!

I don't mind this being the default for the wap site, but don't lock it, allow it to change from the dropdown and a cookie like it seems to do now.

i cant figure out the color scheme either, but i think one of the colors indicates wether a thread is a "sticky" or not...

Yeah, there's one color for announcements, then another color for all the sticky threads, both of which appear above all of the regular posts.

Then comes all of the regular posts, and there is something I can't seem to figure out there. There's some threads that are highlighted and others aren't, I can't figure out why.

I added a link at the bottom to switch to the old WAP style in case you still like that one better.
