Making WAP changes to i910 using QPST 2.7 build 215 and SamsungPST Lite 1.0.003
So I'm at my wits end here...
I have an Omnia i910 which already has crickets 1015 prl, so talk and text works for now. I have upgraded from WM6.1 to WM6.5. I have searched high and low and am not usually one to post a question as i know the answers are out there! I successfully flashed an HTC Touch to work with MMS and WAP flawlessly, as I found the built-in EPST to be much easier to work with. After reading many threads and finding SamsungPST and Lite should be able to allow me to make these changes, I found the downloads and picked them up! I went to Settings>>(checked) Features and hit Read From Phone, I then Enabled Hidden Menu and wrote this info to the phone. When I go to 1X/EVDO DATA Parameter and Read From Phone everything is in blue and will not allow me to make any changes! After countless hours of reading and troubleshooting I gave up on SamsungPST Lite 1.0.003 ![]() Using QPST I have successfully been able to change (M.IP tab) Mobile profile to 10digit#@mycricket.com, Mobile IP Behavior will change to Simple IP and will revert itself to Mob + Simp f/back on its own, IDK how or when it just does... (PPP Config Tab) (Um button on left side) (PPP Authentication right side) Tethered NAI remains 10digit#@mycricket.com, however User ID and pass will not change to cricket's settings, they will revert back to 10digit#@vzw3g.com... (AN button left side) PPP Authentication>>User ID and pass will do the same, as neither will keep cricket settings and revert themselves back to 10digit#@vzw3g.com after I write the new info to the phone. I was using one of WoZZeR 6.5 ROMs and changed to bgill55's 6.5 ROM thinking maybe this would help... It didn't ![]() My questions... Am I doing something wrong here? Should I maybe look for SamsungPST instead of Lite? Am I maybe not using these programs correctly? Should I try changing PRL? (even though this is the same PRL I was using on my old HTC Touch fully flashed)... I'm just stuck with no where else to look ![]() Any help is greatly appriciated! BTW - Thanks to everyone has has posted and helped me get this far! As without you I would be stuck with crappy high priced cricket phones! ![]() |

So I still haven't been able to get my Omnia on WAP
![]() My new question is, to those of you who have successfully accomplished this goal... What PRL are you using? For cricket preferably... |

You need Samsung PST NOT lite You can use the same method as the Moto Q EVDO will not work because of the username reverting to @vzw3g.com Here it is thanks to Tonycortes on Ho-Fo http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...ight=omnia+mms This is the thread with the rapiconfig for the web. http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...hlight=tekcirc Last edited by cricketsouth; 07-22-2009 at 06:45 PM. |

Re: Making WAP changes to i910 using QPST 2.7 build 215 and SamsungPST Lite 1.0.003
So I've tried the Rapiconfig method and don't seem to get anywhere... I've tried everything the thread says to do and nothing ever happens other than Command just sitting there blinking and never giving me “Config results written to output file RapiconfigOut.xml.”
“Config succeeded.” I've been searching for Samsung PST and am not finding this program anywhere! I found Hex Workshop 6.01 and still haven't gotten too into it... But would anyone know where to find Samsung PST and not the Lite version like I can find everywhere else. Thanks! |

So the changes will stick, BUT.... AN NAI will not! and simple IP mode will also revert itself whenever I reset the phone... I'm going to try a hard reset then see if the changes will stick. I still have no internet and may give up on this phone if this does not work...
