Exclamation Omnia for only $49.99 ????

Yes, it's true...

I couldn't believe it either..but..well...does this mean they are liquidating current stock to make room for Omnia 2? I personally don't think I will get it, but I'm sure plenty will. I have heard that the new OLED screen is great inside, but TERRIBLE outdoors in sunlight. My Omnia 1 is not so great outdoors now, but it is now worse? All I need is a great new ROM or official 6.5 or 7 upgrade and I will be fine with my LOW COST Omnia.

You beat me to it! I was just over at the Verizon website and saw that price.

Certainly makes you wonder...

Hmm, maybe they are blowing this out for the new version? Probably wishful thinking.

Possibly, it looks like most WM models have been significantly discounted so it may have more to do with market dynamics than just a specific model launch.

Re: Omnia for only $49.99 ????

im sure there is somthing coming. all their phones except 1 is under 100 bucks. that unheard of for vzw. so im thinking they are making room for better phones, and bigger prices.

Re: Omnia for only $49.99 ????

I agree with Hoss...but....perhaps it is because all the WM phones are running the 6.1 software and VW is making room for the newer phones with the next official released software.

There's a video floating around with several phones in direct sunlight. Omnia 1 was THE worst. It was interesting how several sites commented on that. The Omnia 2 doesn't look worse though.
How often do you use your phone in direct sun? the iphone was the best overall in sunlight.
I have the original omnia and that aspect sucks, but whatcha gonna do.

won't keep me from upgrading to the next version.
