Add Word disappearing and Dictionary Question

Good afternoon! I have 2 slight issues...

1) Is there a way to edit the XT9 Dictionary via PC? Like using a text editor?

2) When the "Add word?" prompt appears, it quickly disappears too fast to even start typing a word in. How can I make the dialog stay active long enough to type in the word I would like to add? The dialog I want to keep open is shown in the screenshot. It took me 5-6 tries to capture the screenshot LOL
