PanoraMax.dll (Panoramic Settings)???

I came across this file as well (/windows/PanoraMax.dll) and I'm thinking this handles the resolution for panoramic shots. I could be wrong, but I dont even know where to begin as far as changing values. Does anybody have a clue?

Re: PanoraMax.dll (Panoramic Settings)???

i have been playing around with this file and Im pretty sure it handles the stitch part of the panoramic image. main issue is finding the key in the registry ( which isnt there and needs to be created)

I have only once and not since been able to get panoramic mode set to the full 5MP setting but when attempting to take a shot I got the message "Mix Fail" then my camera app stopped working (app crashed) when restarting camera it would fail to open. apon reset (button next to power) camera app started but all setting back to normal. havent been able to mimic that again.

im still trucking though..

That is awesome news just considering you got as far as you did. If I get some time in the next week or two I would love to pick your brain if that is ok. Thanks for the hard work already and we will chat soon.

Re: PanoraMax.dll (Panoramic Settings)???

For now you're better off taking the pictures manually and stitching them together on your PC. A tool like Microsoft ICE works great for this, see this for download link and a simple usage guide.
