i910 GPS Issues with CF03

I had thought I came across this in the forum before, but couldn't find it when searching.

I can't get a GPS fix using google maps or Garmin. I can get that tower triangulation (which really isn't even GPS) on Google Maps, but nothing else. I try having Windows manage the GPS, and I try using the custom settings on COM8. Both do nothing, even when sitting outside on a clear day. After 5-10 minutes google maps gives me an error message saying that it's having a problem getting a lock. Garmin acts like I don't have GPS at all.

I know that my GPS chip must be working because I used the 1 day trial of VZNavigator and got an exact fix in like under 30 seconds. If I used Google Maps right after VZNavigator, I still had the fix, but after a soft reset it's gone, and there's no way to get it back without first starting up VZnav.

My location settings are turned on, and I've softresetted several times to no avail. I was able to use GPS on C220, but not CF03.

Any ideas?

Try using BAF GPS Toggle a free utility, it acquires a GPS lock and it should help your GPSlock issues. It runs in the background and uses very little RAM.

Tried BAF....it says GPS On, but Seek sticks at Zero. I don't get it.

WTF? i910 GPS Issues with CF03

So I flashed to Adrn's CF03 6.5 ROM, and I still couldn't get a GPS lock.

Then I flashed back to C220 and everything works fine. I get a lock in like 2 mins.

WTF?
