Help restoring contacts after upgrading...

Prior to installing CF03 I bought and backed up my entire phone with SPB. Now I would like to restore the contacts, but they exist in a complete backup exe file. Could someone with SPB give me some insight on what would be a good way to accomplish this.

Thanks..

I'm not sure if you can restore just pim data??

If not;

I would probably do a new complete backup,

then restore the old one... Then backup just pim data. Save that, do a hard reset, and then restore your new complete backup, and then restore the pim data backup..

I hope thats not too confusing..

Best

Chris

Easy. SPB gives the option to select what files you want to restore when you run the EXE file. Just choose your PIM data, and if you want your Opera bookmarks. Those should have no problems restoring to a new ROM. That what I did from a full backup. But to make it easier once I restored them on my new ROM, I did another backup, but just backed up my PIM and Opera bookmarks, so I can just do a full restore next time.
