Need help with streaming hic-ups

Got a bluetooth stereo headset for streaming XM, Youtube, Streamcenter, etc.
Tried each and streaming is interupted to buffer throughout the duration.
This is on Wifi. Is there any info on improving wifi signal if that is the problem. Or improving the Omnia wifi reception? When I am in a good signal area and rely on 3g the stream goes pretty much un-interupted. OK???? seems wifi should be at least that good.
