Repeating SMS on WM 6.5 and Other SMS Concerns

So I finally gave up PhoneAlarm because I actually like titanium now. I know, crazy huh? Anyway.

1. Is there any way to get repeating SMS's using WM 6.5? I have tried OS Remind Me but nothing shows up in the start menu (and it doesn't work).

2. I've noticed that a lot of times I get an SMS and my phone doesn't alert me. Is anyone else having that problem? It's almost like it isn't waking up to tell me. I also notice that when I turn on the phone (it's asleep) the time is wrong and then quickly updates. Then I get a bunch of SMS alerts, Reminders, Emails, etc. I seriously think that it is in too deep a sleep!!!

Ideas?

EDIT: I'm using BGill55's 1.3 ROM but I don't think it is ROM related.

I would suggest you try MSentinel.

MSentinel is a reminder software for missed calls, sms, mms, emails, voice mail and tasks.
