Battery Percentage

I know there is a way to get the actual battery percentage to show on the start menu bar. Attached is a picture of what I am talking about. I know I have seen screens that have an actual battery percentage instead of the battery meter.

Re: Battery Percentage

Try a different task bar, lisbian or Elite. It's a taskbar icon that can show it.

Edit: If you're using MS3, you can have a battery meter widget on your screen, or do you only want it in the taskbar?

Re: Battery Percentage

Yeah, I don't have the widget up on mobile shell because my home screen is mostly white so I can't read the percentage anyway. Unless there is a way to change the battery widget text to black.

That's all you're gonna get from CF03; the battery driver in the new update (just like the previous updates) only gives 20% increments. There is a way to get 5% and 1% increments, but some (not all) who used the technique said it was detrimental to battery life

Re: Battery Percentage

The answer to this isn't as straight forward as it may seem. Kabkab made a couple of different versions of the battery driver. He made a couple of 1% increment drivers and a 5% increment driver. The other thing on the taskbar is how many icons are in the dlls for the battery status. I have 5% increments in my taskbars. If you don't depend on the taskbar for your battery status ie. spb mobile shell or batti 2.4, then the taskbar is not needed. Here are the links for both forums on modaco.
