Cooked ROMS

Is there a list or place that show all the different Cooked Roms and what each one has and does. I'm ready to flash my Omnia but now looking for what Rom I want to use. Would be nice to have list of Rom that tell which rom come with what. And if they are 6.1 or 6.5. Thaks

Look in the upgrade forum which is here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=83

All of the ROM threads have the word ROM in theme somewhere and the usually tell if it is 6.1 or 6.5. On this site there are three chefs that create ROMs. Adrynalyne, bgill and me. The first post of each thread will tell you what the ROM has in it and what has been removed.

Only problem with a post like that is that it would have to updated so much... if flashing, it pays to do your homework... and thus it really pays to go check out the different ROMs :D If just reading about each ROM doesn't satisfy you, then you have an excuse to flash to several to see which works best for you. Just don't forget to flash to CC20 the first time before flashing to others.

I notice on one rom it says office has been removed. Is there anyway to reinstall office if you use that rom? I have looked at all the CD that came with phone and dont see office where I would be able to reinstall it.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=68808 look at post #2. Adryn has a lot of files that would be useful. Again, don't forget to flash the CC20 first. Too much headache if you don't. Then, after you flash it, you can flash with another rom. BlazingWolf's, BGill's, and Adryn's are all quality Roms. They all have different features and really trying them all out for a day or two will only serve to help you figure out which is best for you. =D> congrats on taking your first steps.

Thank you all for helping those of us that are noobies.

I am running Blazingwolf's 6.5 and it is great very few problems.

I had a question about flashing .. do you need to reflash to cc20 each time you re-flash (after doing the initial flash).

thanks for all your help and for making a good phone a great phone!

Nope. The first flash needs CC20 because it gives us the updated radio for unlocked GPS. Since you have it there now you can flash any other cooked ROM for our device.
