WM 6.5 Titanium Weather Icons Thread- Make your weather panel unique- More Icons!
 

Hello All;


Anyone has a fix on the device. For some, its a sliding lock. For others its a skin that imitates other devices ;) This is my FETISH, its painless- Titanium weather Icons. Here I'll be posting my latest findings and releases.

Installation Instructions:
* Extract file. There are 2 folders in each, one is the .plg file and one has the icons.
* .plg File goes to /Program Files/TitaniumWeather/plgFiles
* Icon Folder goes to Program Files/TitaniumWeather
* After that, settings in TitaniumWeather Panel menu.

My aim was to make the files as light weight as possible without compromising quality. I didn't make them into a cab since in some ROMs the folders are not present.

First, if you don't have Titanium Weather installed, download this: Showaco's TitaniumWeather .cab modified by me

Beyond,Buff,HTC,Spil and Stardock can be found HERE. They are .cab files, just install to device memory. They are from ~700KB to 1MB in size.

Credits: I didn't MAKE these, I found them online, re-sized them and re-numbered them according to the weather panel listing (AccuWeather). I also had to modify the .plg file in some cases. Pain in the (_._) but this is my fetish...

Any image is possible. I even tried to do a mountain theme, came out like crap...Still working on that one, might only do 3 day display that would make 'em nicer

Hey thanks!

Couple things - what is the plg file and what exactly does it do? Just trying to learn as much as I can.

Second, if anyone is interested I have a Titanium Weather4.2 cab file with LioryteSeven theme included and preselected. Radar links (to Accuweather) are also included, all that is required to use is entering your zip code and changing the city and state in the radar image url. Let me know if interested and I can upload it :)

Edit - Tested on TouchPro, so not positive if it works on Omnia (just realized this was in the Omnia forum :lol:

So does it default to a certain one if the matching one isn't there? I installed your images but not the plg file and it looked ok. (Have since installed the plg file, just to be safe).

At least should have the same name as the images ;) the changes are minor to none in most cases it depends to what size I make 'em- but they are all 'bout the same size

BTW, where is the download link for LioryteNature? Did I miss it somewhere? I like the realism of the icons.

Here you go. This cab has JUST lyoryte Seven in it, it does not have the generic icons. If you want those let me know and I will get it made up for you.

Added Tick and Flat Black Icons. Got 7 more colors possible with Flat-Gray light/ dark, pink?, blue light/dark, yellow and white. If there is demand I'll make 'em.

Looks good! Seven is still my favorite though :D

And if you are looking for demands, I demand dark blue icons! :lol: If you get any other interest in a dark blue icon set and end up making them, I might use them in my ROM as an alternative to Seven, but that has been slow work lately, so not a big deal :)

It is an add-on to Titanium Weather that will load radar according to GPS (or cell tower signal) readings:

Features:
- Gets weather radar for current GPS location or using cell towers
- Ability to manually enter location
- Click anywhere on the map to move to that location
- Different views and zoom levels
- Animated radar loop
- Integrates with Showaco TitaniumWeather 4.2 PlugIn

Looks pretty cool to me, I will be trying it out later, I just wanted to spread it around a bit as well!!

I was hoping you would see that Blazingwolf!! I read the entire thread over @ XDA and didn't see anything about it being resolution specific, so I am thinking it should work. I also suggested a tweak or two to the app, we'll see how it progresses!!

Good luck w/ that BW, can't wait to see if you can get it into your ROM!! If we're using your v1.4 neo would we be able to just make the changes, or should we wait to see what you can do?

BW, is there any way of using any of lioryte's weather icons in the neo theme or is it a major hassle getting them resized? When I tried using one's and dumping them into the neo folder, the sizes were all screwed up and didn't look right.

I don't think it will be to hard. Most of it is done outside of Titanium.

I would have to look at liorytes' icons before I could give you an answer. Which ones?

BW, Seven or Nature. Although all of them are sweet (as long as you don't do the mushrooms I'm good with which ever ones you pick...) J/K I know Lioryte put a lot into these, nice job!!
