loud ringer

How do I turn up ringer on this thing?? I just got this phone about 2 weeks ago and have missed countless phone calls because I can not hear the ringer. I have it set for loudest setting. Plus on volume I click for phone and max it out, but as soon as I go back to volume control it back to middle. I did the reg hack and set it at "1" which suppose to start off loud. They said "2" would make it slowly getter louder as it rings. Is there anything else I'm missing beside phone calls?? lol Help!! Thanks!!

Sounds odd. I always just use the volume control on the side of the phone and it has never given me a problem. If i turn it up, it stays up. I would do without the reg hack and just go into setting-personal-phone- and then adjust it to vibrate and ring. that just starts it loud and if for some reason you dont hear it, maybe you will feel the vibrate.

btw... any third party apps? task bars or such?

what did you do the reg edit with? You said you typed in a value.. how did you do that? huh, huh? kidding, but you do have a reg editor right?

well Im not sure whats going on with your omnia. You tried the above. Get rid of the reg hack, and try using the volume control on the side of the phone? Soft reset and then try? Maybe you need to do a hard reset? You have spb backup so that should go fairly smooth.
