Omnia + Windows 7 64bit Problem

So I installed Windows 7 64bit a few days ago and I really like it. I haven't had any problems with any games or programs until now. I installed the Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 from the Microsoft website. I installed the Omnia modem driver and rebooted. Plugged my Omnia in and it connects and syncs but when I try to un-check "Allow USB Connections" it lets me un-check it and then hit ok and just for a quick second a command promt box comes up and goes away and then all is done. Well when I go back into the connection settings and check to make sure its still un-check it's not. Its back to checked again... doesn't matter what I do... reboot, reinstall WMDC... it just keeps checking itself back. Any ideas?

Are you running as an administrator? You should be asked to authorize the change by a security popup.

Yeah I believe I am... I'll double check but I am pretty sure I set it all up that way...

Well I am defiantly running as an Administrator. I don't get this... I took "control" over all the files in my C: drive. I don't understand what could be going on here... really starting to piss me off though.
