Question omnia memory leak survey

hey ya'll

i have been watching my omnia drop ram all day long, some gets recovered through using ram cleaner. i have been using the mem hog cab as well, and that seems to slow it down some but does not cure it.

so here are my questions:
from doing a soft reset as a baseline, how much program ram drops off your phone over the course of a normal day?

secondly,
what tricks or programs are you using to minimize the leaks?

i understand that leaks are inevitable, but i don't really have a baseline to judge if mine is excessive or not.

this exercise is no refection on how the roms tested works, it is just a measure of leakage on a daily basis.

thanks for your help!!!!

and so wraps up my leak testing. as you can see from the results, it appears that a m2d rom seems the least leaky of all the rom's tested.
which is good news for me, seeing how m2d is my own preferred interface.
a stock or vanilla rom appears to leak more over from the space of a day, more than likely from more programs making more demands over time.

i don't really know what to say about the mem hog cab at this point, aside of my observation that while with or without the cab, the end result of leakage remains the same. except the rate of leakage slows down in the beginning of the day, rather than just dumping the ram and staying the same for the rest of the day.

i know that the ti interface is all the rage right now, but for myself, i like my screen clean, which is why i kept the original sammy interface for as long as i did. it was one of the reasons i was stoked about the neo rom from blazingwolf. i liked it a lot as i did the last bgill ti interface rom, but in the end, for me, i am still a m2d guy.

i tried to keep the playing field even by keeping all the same programs in each test. and i am not what you would call a super power user in the sense that most of you are. i don't store music on the phone, as i have a zune for playing tunes at work. i do some surfing everyday, and gps is not an issue for me unless i am off puttering about in unfamiliar territory.

anyway i hope what i have gleaned from doing this has been useful to someone, and if you have a combination that leaks less feel free to post it here!!!
