okay, since all the hex code and such means absolutely nothing to me can someone who has a clue help me do this? Attached is the .cab of the panel skin and icon for the clock I want, but when I install it it breaks the notifications panel icons (mainly in condensed view but I think one in expanded) can someone make this work for Adryn's 3.9.1?

PLEEASE!! lol I hate to be a pain in the butt, but I haven't the first clue as to how to do this. I downloaded those two programs that blazingwolf put up, but don't even know what to do with them...I used one to look at a resource that was in the extracted cab, but there was no dll and the hex code just confuses me...what do all the numbers even mean??

Thanks so much, Blazingwolf. I installed Adryn's 4.0, and the pulldowns were indeed much more finger-friendly, just like the screenshot you provided. A huge improvement! The only explanation I can think of is that the installation of some other app resets the pulldown menus back to the old WM default?

Which brings me to a new problem, and one that has happened to me a couple times before as well. Something messes up the popup menus, almost like there's a second menu layer sitting over top of the real one. Here's what it looks like:

http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/v...MenuError1.jpg

You can actually see the vertical borders of the 'overlay' covering up the actual menu beneath. There is no highlighting for the default choice, unless maybe it's white text and thus invisible. Also, there are no scrolling icons at the top and bottom as there should be.

But if I click on any of the menu choices, the 'real' menu seems to pop to the top of the stack, as seen here:

http://i699.photobucket.com/albums/v...MenuError2.jpg

BW, do you have any idea what could be causing this? Or more importantly, is there some way to manually restore the menus back to the ROM defaults? Every time this has happened, the only fix I found was a hard reset and reload everything - I just have to think there's an easier way? Would love to learn how to recover from this...

Wow....rvonder....I have never seen that....have you tried other themes? That is the only thing I can think of that may be happening. Maybr that particulat theme is buggy(they are usually checked before being cooked it, but you never know). Try a couple other themes in there and let us know if it is a constant!!

*although Blazingwolf may know of a setting or something I don't!!

There seems to be no cab. I have to sit down and make one for it as I know there will be problems if I put out the Neo version without one.

Re: Omnia WM 6.5 Titanium theme thread

ah. Cause I would like to have the panel, but not entirely sure how to install it. Question. if I were to use the Neo theme, would it install in the today settings, like Classic blue and such? Or would it override everything and I wouldn't be able to switch back easily?

Re: Omnia WM 6.5 Titanium theme thread

So Im having trouble with the greatballs theme. Maybe someone can help.... blazingwolf?

Ok so Im going to post some screen shots and maybe it will explain my issue.

this first image is my main problem. If you look at the task bar and the lower tray you can see my background image. Yet the screen is the brown. What happened? Also you will notice the "x" in the image. this is the chome panel. Obviously not made compatible with this theme. Maybe it can be?
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f4...7/Screen01.jpg

This image just shows the fact that the background shows up everywhere else...
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f4...7/Screen02.jpg

My m2d with the proper background (i toggle between titanium and m2d)
http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f4...7/Screen03.jpg

So whats going on?

btw... sorry for the cheesy self shot background. As was discussed in another thread, that background is the comprimise to be allowed to mess with my omnia so much.

Ok so i realized it was just a matter of i wasnt using the transparent version of the theme. Switched and now all is well.

Still would like to have the chome panel working.

Taskanium is pretty simple to install. You create a folder in Program Files called Taskanium. Place all of the file in the zip in it. Now tap on Taskaniuminstall and it will install the panel. To uninstall just tap on Taskaniumuninstall.

The Neo theme is in cab format and can be removed through the remove programs settings. If you install my ROM then the changes you like can be installed over it.

I couldn't find this thread last night but I did post the Neo Taskanium in liorytes thread in the upgrade forum. Since I have found this now I will go ahead and post it here. :)

Here is Neo Taskanium. For the life of me I can't get it to cab and work correctly so I have just zipped the files up.

To install put all files in the Taskanium folder in Program Files/Taskanium. Then explore to the folder and tap TaskaniumInstall. You should be set.

To uninstall explore to the Taskanium folder and tap on TaskaniumUninstall.

Simple as that. Sorry it's not a cab file. If someone can cab it to where it works installing and uninstalling please let me know.

Ok so I followed your instructions. I didnt have a \program files\taskanium so i created the directory. Then unzipped everything to that directory. After that I selected the install. Heres what happened...

Then select details...

Did you change the Titanium.cpr files in any way? Did you soft reset before trying to install? Did you correctly copy all files in the folder? Did you correctly name the file Taskanium? Notice the capitalization.

Thanks for the info. I will keep an eye here and there. Maybe something specific to our rom or something. At any rate, im ok with transparent for now. Chome is a good panel but I use m2d the majority of the time anyways.

Re: Omnia WM 6.5 Titanium theme thread

I've installed Taskanium numerous times with no prob. Even with titanium running. I've even uninstalled it and reinstalled it back to back.

jason917 07-08-2009 04:49 PM

Re: Omnia WM 6.5 Titanium theme thread

So after flashing 6.5 v4.1 I was hoping to see this thing work. Assuming my issue before was just overload of bs on my phone, or too much playing with. So I installed taskanium as specified and got no errors. Soft reset, enabled titanium, and nothing. Im think maybe im not completely understanding what taskanium is. I thought I understood but maybe not. So a couple questions... Does this require the neo theme to already be installed? Why is there a taskanium panel? Do I use this? Is this simply supposed to be to support chome? I think Im lost.

Omega Ra 07-08-2009 04:57 PM

Re: Omnia WM 6.5 Titanium theme thread

taskanium is another panel like cHome, CComm, titanium weather...It is linked to the tasks app in windows. Basically it is just a to-do list. It only requires the neo theme if you use the neo version of taskanium, there is a regular titanium one as well..
