New Otterbox Case for Omnia

I never thought this day would come. (And sadly, this is the kind of thing that makes my day...)

Clearly the Omnia has built up a sizable enough following for Otterbox to see fit to create a dedicated case.

I've had nothing but success out of my prior Defender cases, so suffice it to say mine is on order.

Re: New Otterbox Case for Omnia

Now that's a nice one, but Seidio has already had one out for a few months already - that is less than half the cost and just as good. Of course, I'd JUMP if the same manufacturer that is making the thin clear lexan cases and brushed aluminum covers for the iphones ALSO made them for the Omnia! Ah, but to dream...

Re: New Otterbox Case for Omnia

That thing is thick. About 3/8" thicker that my Brando hard case. Mine makes the phone a little longer but holds a supplied stylus. Which doesn't get used very much at all anymore.

They must have different box types. The first thing I noticed at the referenced link was a disclaimer that it was not waterproof.

nice, but how bout the one everdaysources has. Its a hard rubber case, very sturdy. I dropped my phone a few times with the case and the protection is perfect.

Too bad that's for an i900, not i910.

# NOTE: Compatible with GSM SGH-i900 Omnia ONLY; NOT Compatible with Verizon CDMA SCH-i910 Omnia

Link to the Seidio unit? I consider myself fairly resourceful but I can't find any Omnia cases on Seidio's site. I used Seidio stuff for my Apache and Titan and love their offerings.

Re: New Otterbox Case for Omnia

As I said, I've always had great success with the Defender cases from Otterbox. They're not waterproof, per se, but they're rugged and great for use during outdoor activities. Tried and true for me, YMMV. I'll try to post some pics and a review when I get mine.
