Request for help...lets get the missing features of OBEX that Verizon removed!
Ok, so my project today has been to enable the Bluetooth FTP folder on the i910.
If you are unfamiliar with what this is, you can read about it here. http://www.pspmyspace.com/omnia/2009...-transfer.html Attached is a video of it working, from a Telus flashed i910 to my Verizon i910. It basically allows you to remotely view the files on a phone or PC, from the handset. The Bluetooth FTP folder looks and is treated like an SD card folder. So, what do I have so far? I have a BT FTP folder. I can see my devices. However, they do not show up for me when I go into them. That tells me I don't have read access. I also show obex as an available profile now under devices I have paired. Steps to enable it up to this point? Added these reg entries: REGEDIT4 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\Se rvices\00001106-0000-1000-8000-00805F9B34FB] @="OBEX File Transfer" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\CSR\Modules\FTCM] "BtStatus"=dword:00000001 "ActivePath"="Drivers\\Active\\79" "ConnectionTimeout"=dword:0000EA60 "obexAuthentication"=dword:00000000 "Filename"="btp_ftcm.dll" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\ BtProfile] "PartitionDriver"="" "DefaultFileSystem"="BtFsd" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles\ BtProfile\PartitionTable] @="default" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\BtFsd] "Dll"="btp_btfsd.dll" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\Active\78] "Hnd"=dword:006A2140 "Name"="DSK5:" "Key"="Drivers\\BuiltIn\\BtFsd" "BusParent"=dword:00033860 "InterfaceType"=dword:00000000 "BusName"="BuiltIn_0_8_0" [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtFsd] "Index"=dword:00000005 "Profile"="BtProfile" "IClass"="{A4E7EDDA-E575-4252-9D6B-4195D48BB865}" "Prefix"="DSK" "Dll"="btp_btfsd.dll" Add a driver file to \Windows. It is attached. I am no longer sure how or where to go. So, I ask for help. HELLLLP! |
