Hi All

This is for i910 ONLY!!! If you own a stock verizon i910 and want to try any custom ROM you MUST flash your phone first with the "leaked" ROM

I see some people complaining that they can't find the leaked ROM. For those people here are some links uploaded by me. As for how to use it please read other posts explaining how to do it.

I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING THAT MIGHT HAPPEN TO YOUR PHONE AFTER FLASHING.

Several of them. For some reason though, and I don't expect it to stop even now, people keep having issues finding it. SO it doesn't hurt to have it again.

the cc20 img file when i save it it ask me to save as and i only have 2 ways to save it win zip or all files when i save it on either one it goes to winzip and says corupt file

You can't just open this, you need the UMDL. The file is RAR if I remember correctly. I'll download this and see

No issues for me with the file, download and use with UMDL MAKE SURE YOU READ or you WILL brick ur device

i know i did my phone but now my brother is trying to do his phone but for some reason he cant get this file on his comp the file posted above is in img so he should just be able to save it then run umdl and flash but it allways goes to winzip

I'm trying to flash my phone with cc20 but it won't go past detect step in UMDL for some reason.
I press detect and nothing happens in UMDL or the phone..
What could be wrong?

Did you turn your phone back on after connecting it? I've forgotten to do this a couple of times.

Once I flash the phone with the cc20 image I can now flash my phone with any other ROM out there?
I follow the same steps as installing cc20 right? using UMDL?

1 make sure your sync's USB is set to OFF
2 phone should be OFF
3 unzip/ upload any ROM
4 upload UMDL
5 Use PDA option to extract the ROM (bin file)
6 hit detect
7 Just making sure ;) at this stage you have: your phone is off, sync USB is off and phone is connected to a USB 2 port, you have the samsung driver installed...
8 turn phone on, w8 for ROM to upload. DO NOT MOVE THE PHONE/ Press anything until UMDL is done and phone auto restarts.

I use Adrynalyne's ROM, they work grert for me. as far as screen shots, in the ROM section everyone got a shot of somethin'. 6.5 is really nice and finger friendly. You got ROMs here in the ROM section and in modaco as well with Wozzer's ROM. since Adrynalyne was kind enough to post his kitchen lots of ppl started posting their work. If you feel like it, you can cook your own ROM now. Just make sure any ROM you try is for i910 or you'll brick it

After reading the instructions it says I should download the CDMA modem driver. Where cannot I find one that's Vista Compatible for the Omnia i910. I have misplaced the CD on where I think the driver is also located. I have searched google, VZW's website, and Samsung's to no avail. I found a driver that was for XP, but have not downloaded it.

Or

Is the USB driver provided what was needed (I have already installed that).

Short version: yes :)
I have Vista 64. Use the driver I provided at the beginning of this post. That's all you need. Make sure you uncheck USB on sync and have your device set by instructions. Enjoy

Sorry if this is out of place....

I flashed the i910 vzw using the Samsung PST and verizon oem img file (i910WM6.1.REV10.CB06.VZW.img), but the flash only went half way on the phone and the pst showed complete 100%. The phone remained in "flashmode" for another 30mins without any progress. I checked device manager and it does not detect the phone. So I have no choice but to disconnect it and removed the battery, since the power button has no response, and it does not turn on. It does show charging when plugged, but will not turn on. Please advise of any ideas or solutions.

hi opm you flash i910 img ,you need use UMDL_OMNIA_v2.3.exe and to do it. By the way, do you have the telus cc30 or cb18 right img?

No I only have the Verizon original img file. I was hesitant to use the UMDL over the Samsung PST. I have the dll and img file for this phone so I felt was a safer choice....so I thought.:disgust:

Sorry bud the ONLY flashable version to use on the i910 is the CC20, using the provided driver and UMDL

Planning to flash today ..

I had a question about data on my phone ... i don't care if i have to install my programs again ... but will my contacts, email, and files in My Docs and My Storage survive the flash ? Want to be sure since it's a first for me ... I don't have them backed up ... any free or cheap programs to backup ?

Found something to backup my contacts ... file/folders was easy with the usual usb ...

For some reason .. my activesync doesn't backup contacts and i am too dense to figure out why ...

Thanks to you .. finding everything in one place gave me confidence to flash ... And i found the link to Wozzer's ROM in a poll thread ... had no idea that had to go to Modaco :) ..

It's sometimes scary for someone like me... not bold enough ... I tend to confuse myself ...

Of course, now i am already thinking of flashing again .. looking for the next fix ](*,)

This is a little late but the CB06 ROM was leaked by azintegra shortly after CC20. It was the closest he could get to a stock current VZW ROM.

You are the first I know of to flash this ROM. If you still have the phone you might post on Modaco. Ping azintegra over there. He might come up with something.

CB06 is a bad image. Its most likely a brick maker, as it gives checksum errors. Don't flash it if you find it.

Are you using an older computer with usb 1.0?
