Be careful... This fits the statute for theft too. You are trying to permantly deprive them of something of value. I'm sure the retail value is about $500, which would make it a felony in most states! Is that something you can live with?

Wuh? If I drop it in the toilet I'd have to pay the $100 bucks to replace it, just as I would because the screen is cracked. So that really doesn't help me. Nuking it would cause a power failure without traces of inflicted damage. That's the point. Blame it on the phone, not my butter fingers.

I agree, they do not give a turd about the phone... they want your $90 a month for you unlimeted dataplane... Get you new phone

I say do it...not only because we both have Jester in the SN, but also because I really want to know what happens. I hope it's nothing like putting a CD in the Microwave....If you get caught just say that you have a little kid and he must have done it...that you had no idea, you just went to turn it on and it wouldn't so you brought it in....

Sweet avatar, dude! I'll have to upload my Mad Jester for mine.

Well, microwaving it didn't work. It shorted out the phone circuits, but it still powers on. I'm now flashing the OEM ROM back onto it and then I'll try it again.

Don't worry. being a tech before, I know how the system works.
