phonex or icontact and idialer?

I'm actually really digging the smooth scrolling more than anything with phonex. It's really clean overall and I like most all of it. www.iconsoft.com

I really like the integration with S2U2 when using icontact and idialer though.

any thoughts? opinions? why is the scrolling so smooth and iphone like with phonex while other programs can struggle with this to a degree?
