Oh, I seriously doubt Verizon would ever know that you did this as it is a Verizon ROM. They don't usually check these kinds of things. That's the general consensus around all of the sites I visit. In fact I have read about people getting refurb phones that have custom ROMs on them because VZW didn't know the difference.

However, if that is why you don't want to do it then I wouldn't as the older ROM has not become available. azintegra (source of new ROM) has been asked to look for it though.

well with my luck, mine will be the phone they notice...lol...I may go ahead and do it anyway, but I'm really only interested in the battery increment fix...

Re: Beta rom

Another retarded question. Where did this come from? Is it something that VZ is working that an employee leaked, or what?

I can confirm this, at least at my job. We get phones and refurbish them after the carriers bave checked for customer abuse, and I have seen tons of phones with hack sw. Still, I am going to wait. My lu k is just terrible.

Re: Beta rom

Did the new ROM, but unable to get the GPD to work. Downloaded Google Maps, did the whole COM 8 and the 57600. Still no go, any clues?

Go outside and wait 5 to 10 minutes. Also, make sure location is set to on and not 911 only.

Re: Beta rom

OK...has anyone here done this on Vista? I really want to try this out, and I think I have all files suggested to use, but the pdf uses an active sync screen shot to describe the setup and I really want to make sure I get this right.....I think you can guess why!!
