Removing VZappzone & VZnavigator

I am pretty sure I had seen this somewhere, but I searched, and couldn't find it.

How do I remove VZ appzone and VZnavigator? Only the apps I have installed show in the "remove programs" app....

Can someone re-direct me or tell me how please?

They aren't installed. the icons in Main Menu are placeholders.

Delete them from \Windows\Start Menu\Programs.

i take it that you could then replace them wit another program like Coreplayer?

Re: Removing VZappzone & VZnavigator

Ok, you could actually name any shortcut VZAppZone.lnk and place it in \Windows\Start Menu\Program, and it will place it on the Main Menu, and it works!

Its pretty ghetto though, because it still says its VZAppZone, and it has the same icon. But it launches to what you have it set to. Not my cup of tea, but anyway, its possible...

Otherwise, it does what Tiki says.

you could just make your own icon and pop it into the launcher in the appszone place too.

Re: Removing VZappzone & VZnavigator

True that. Of course, it will still be named VZAppZone. That might be simple enough to hack though.
