ok, here what happened. i changed the count and the text to 1 on all the folders, then restart. it seems like working on the front gui but when i goes into individual folder, on the bottom left, it shows 0 messages, 1 unread....

nope, back to square 1...somehow it keeps on 1 for unread...

Try this...unzip this file on your PC and move the file to your Omnia (anywhere) and just click on it. All it is, is the reg setting from mine reading 0. It shouldn't do anything else (but if you have a recent backup file I would feel better about it!!).

Thanks Syr... I have a feeling this will come in handy some day. I almost had to use it yesterday, so just knowing it is available is quite useful.

I find the counts 'stick' once in a while, but they usually filter out. If a simple reg entry helps people, I am glad to oblige!! :-D

tks for all your help but I think I have to go with my last option (restore from factory). After i ran the reg file, on my lower left corner of hotmail folder, it still shows "0" mail "1" unread.

Wow...you have a stubborn one there!! I'm outta ideas!!! If you do manage to do it withoug a hard reset, please let us know what you did. I haven't seen a count stick around through all the fixes!!
