The battery is my main concern, while I'm home I'm on Wifi so data doesn't make any diffrence. I have searched and searched and only found that the Euro/Jap Omnia has a menu option for it but Verizon has of course locked it out.

Euro/JP can't force 1X because they use GSM, not 1X (voice) or EVDO (data). Their 3G handles data and voice. |
