Darren, you are the only person who actually showed me some respect in this thread, while disagreeing with me. For that, I thank you.

However, I still maintain what his site says. It is within the license. It does NOT work properly in its current incarnation. Not for me, and certainly not for some others. There are plenty of people here who like certain apps, but arent savvy to go around replacing and adding files to an already installed app, which is required for the clocks, and for the 'E" hotfix. I was trying to make it easier for the average person who may have problems adding those mods.

I stayed within the freeware license, as he posted on his site. There are at least a dozen other sites hosting S2U2, but I guess because they have made a name for themselves, they don't count?

Anyway, I am not accustomed to the bite the hand that feeds you thing.

i still respect you too, even know you took a crack at me about not having a omnia. dont sweat it bro, do what you do and post your fixes or whatever. i just wanted you to understand why i and only my post was made. i think you can reword or get your stuff out there with a little rewirding then were all happy. i dont wanna see you drop anything like your very usefull threads. darren

Edit: Just a small FYI. When I added HIS hotfix, it deleted the startup shortcuts. All I had to do was put them back in.

You really need to relax. Not sure why you have a hard time linking to the location that you got S2U2... That is all everybody was saying. Link to the original.

Linking to the original is helpful. It doesn't hurt anyone. So relax.

I don't think anyone tried to 'bite you'. I also don't think pointing out to you that the phrase "And I quote" is not an attack phrase is disrespectful to you.

Just relax and try to not have such tunnel vision. You are not under attack.

I did link to it. Several times, in fact.

I linked to his homepage. The exact place I got it.

Of course, I have deleted the first post twice due to complaints, so the point, and evidence, is moot. I linked to it both times, as well as multiple links throughout this thread.

I know everyone says they are not attacking me, but when I have read the license that says I am allowed to do this, and linked to his homepage...then people come along and contribute nothing more than complaints that I have posted it, and not linked to the original...what else would you call that, if not an attack?

It doesn't really matter anymore, I won't ever post files again, so I have completely avoided this conflict for any foreseeable future.

So far I like s2u2. Only problem that I've noticed is that my alarms didn't go off. I'm using the samsung alarms, not the WM ones. When I unlocked the phone this morning I finally got all of my alarm notifications. Anyone else had this problem?
