I do not know wht my OMNIA i910 can do, or what apps are compatible

I went from the Motorola Q smartphone to the Omnia i910. I wa able to figure out alot on the Q but the Omnia seems (for a lack of better words) alot more powerful. I do not know what I can or cant do with it. Meaning i do not know what apps will work with it. Alot of posts bring up HTC.. What is this exactly. Is the omnia a smartphone or pocket pc acording to downloading files. Some ask for pocket pc or snmartphone. I was able to get games onto my Q with ease, but let me say this Omnia seems a bit harder to figur out. I have yet to get a game to work yet.
Can anyone help ....
... I see there are sites for java games and other types of games... whats the difference? some games i guess require certain applications or files to play?
...HELP...LOL

Thumbs up Re: I do not know wht my OMNIA i910 can do, or what apps are compatible

Pocket PC - (Windows Mobile 6.x Professional if it is a cell phone or Windows Mobile 6.x Classic if it does not) Designed primarily for the presentation and entry of data with phone support secondary. These devices have larger screens that you can enter and interact with using touch screens.

Smartphone - (Windows Mobile 6.x Standard) Designed primarily for voice calls and secondarily for data and data input. Usually these devices have keypads and look like regular cell phones.

Here is a link to various applications that work on Omnia I9x0.

You will want software that is made for ARM processor and Windows mobile.

A good start to get started at is http://freewareppc.com/games/games.shtml
