Infrared, You can get programs that will act as a universal remote to control the Tv, dvd, rec, anything that uses the stardard IR.

Ive been on many forums where not one person knew where it was at... and i found out where its at.. cost my 50 cents to get it on ebay too.. a custom silicon protective case showed me where its at.. it had holes cut out for every feature on the phone.. then i noticed one that was open for what? there was nothing there.. not shiny screen, not port, no button.. turns out the entire bottom of the phone is the IR port. its not shiny or see through like your typical ports.. so i then turned on the ir in setting and grabbed my moto q and there they go.. sending files.

maaan if i find a tv remote app for this phone and a way to turn it on that will be my best ever Christmas present lol

sorry but unles there is a blutooth adaptor there is no controling tv. Even if there was an infered setting you have to have an inferred senser which as i i can tell there is none and there usuall really obvious. I guess there is a chance sombody smart can hack the fm reciever or some radio on the phone to send that kind of signal to control those kinds of remotes but i really doubt that will ever happen.

aleis stated above theirs is working.ive also read its in the optical mouse pad area
