TV Remote for Omnia

Been looking for one to control my TV and Xbox 360. I tried Novi Remote but it said that it is not compatible with the omnia's screen resolution. Anybody have any suggestions?

the omnia doesnt have IR.

Ah, but it does have bluetooth for the PS3! anything out there for that? just a thought

Does the PS3 have a remote control profile for the bluetooth, though?

Unless it does, it doesn't matter if it supports BT or not.

Explain more what you mean by remote controle profile?

Meaning that there would have to be a specific profile for controlling the PS3 through bluetooth via remote control. On top of that, there would need to be that very same profile on the Omnia.

Otherwise, it doesn't mean a thing.

my ps3 came with a bluetooth remote, so i think that i could be done if someone really wanted it.

I've been thinking about trying MobileRemote as a bluetooth keyboard for the PS3

oh but it does.... Ive used it. Ive been on many forums where not one person knew where it was at... and i found out where its at.. cost my 50 cents to get it on ebay too.. a custom silicon protective case showed me where its at.. it had holes cut out for every feature on the phone.. then i noticed one that was open for what? there was nothing there.. not shiny screen, not port, no button.. turns out the entire bottom of the phone is the IR port. its not shiny or see through like your typical ports.. so i then turned on the ir in setting and grabbed my moto q and there they go.. sending files.

Sorry for the dumb question, but what is IR? And does that mean you can get software that will make the Omnia into a remote?
