HTCemu 0.7 out!

Found it on Modaco.

It has a control panel that allows calibration and now sensorlock works!

Watch the video.

very intersting... although I predict a lot more phone drops with this technique at least until you master it.

I took one look at sensor lock and ran away for that reason. It just doesn't even look like a good idea

You can set your own gestures.

Re: HTCemu 0.7 out!

Adrynalyne, How do you have it setup? I installed it and got it to work, but when I turn off the backlight, it won't recognize the gestures anymore. Also, It doesn't lock the keys, or is that something I'm missing? I have it set to lock everything. Thanks for your help, Chris

Edit: Dang I just saw the post that it stopped working for you. Any ideas/is that the same problem you are having also?

Re: HTCemu 0.7 out!

Possibly. Typically on the Omnia, once the backlight shuts off/dims, the G-sensor stops working. Not sure if thats a bug or feature, but it will stop sensorlock from working right.

I had the same problem with the buttons not locking--I think its a matter of its just not compatible enough with the Omnia, even with HTCemu.

Re: HTCemu 0.7 out!

Isn't the sensor lock on the HTC is the one detecting stylus insert in the phone? With Omnia, the stylus hanging around, what use is it?

Re: HTCemu 0.7 out!

You are mistaken. That was kind of the reason I posted the link to it and the video.

Couldn't be bothered to watch it?
