Google Maps Keyboard Issue

I just installed the latest verision of google maps and I'm having, what appears to be, a common problem where my samsung keyboard won't work. It's very annoying as the way to get numbers to work is to use the stock keyboard which is tiny.

Does anyone know of a fix, or more practically, where I could download an older version of google maps?

Thanks!

Re: Google Maps Keyboard Issue

Looking forward to hearing a response to this, I just downloaded the newest google maps with the location applet and it still doesn't have a fix for the samsung keyboard problem!

Re: Google Maps Keyboard Issue

map keyboard to physical button, press it to bring up keyboard.

Also it seems to only happen when you have TF2D. When i removed it and now using SPB, no issue with it...

I have no problems switching between keyboards even in the google maps app, but the samsung kb will not put any characters into the text box, while the wm kb will. the samsung kb vibrates on the letters pushed tho. I am not running any shells/ UIs other than the samsung 2 plugin. after a reinstall the first time i run the program the samsung kb works fine, but not after that. just the wm kb.
