Re: Remove Main Menu button on the i910?

Are you talking about the softkey button for the main menu? If so you can change the soft keys by installing the attached app.

If you are talking about the MENU button in the today screen it does not move. You can try a different today screen. Have you tried Samsung Today 2? See the first page of the below link on how to unlock it on your phone...

I don't think Verizon locked this phone down in any way, shape, or form. Spend some time getting more familiar with the device, installing some third party apps, and doing some registry edits and I'm sure you will see how nice of a phone (and customizable) it can be. Search around the forum as there are many ideas on how to improve your Omnia. I would start with the Hacks, Tips and Tricks Thread. It is the one that I linked above.

I agree...Not to give u a hard time CameraMan, but in what way to you feel the Omnia is "handicapped" ??? other then the GPS being locked (for now) is there anything else the phone doesn't do out of the box...?

Re: Remove Main Menu button on the i910?

Hi!

This was great but I would like to put "Wireless" as a button. To be able to easily turn on/of phone/wifi. How can this be done. Now you can only apply programs to buttons and you have to either press the very smal phone/wifi symbol at the top (not easy without a stylus) or go to "settings" and then "connections". Is there a way? ...anyone?
