Re: Has anyone tried Winterface?
I'm using it now. It's a bit quirky but cool looking (since I really wanted a Verizon iPhone). I tried the communication suite. I wouldn't call it ready for primetime. Mine is a i910.

I have to tell you I am pretty happy with my Today 2 screen as it stands. At first I was thinking about going to the familiar HTC shell but it seems to suck up A TON of space on your memory. Then I was thinking about SPB Mobile Shell, but if I'm only going to see a few improvements that I can live without, it doesn't seem to make sense to pay the $30 for the program. The only other one out there I was looking at is S2U2 which I have heard can be buggy at times as well. The one thing I would like is an updated battery symbol at the top of my screen that shows percentage, not the generic one that I can never tell if it is 40% or 80% full. Re: Has anyone tried Winterface?
I have found that not even the WinMo battery symbol is very accurate on the Omnia, hope its fixed in a ROM update. That said, http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-o...kbar-makeover/ will do precisely what you want and beautify your icons as well.

Re: Has anyone tried Winterface?
I use quick menu to display my battery in % (and it also displays how much free memory you have in the same little icon space) plus i like its start menu better than the standard wm 6 menu, and the added ability to hold down on a windows x to fully close it rather than minimize it. other programs accomplish these things as well, I've just grown fond of quick menu:

I ran the cab file first and it says it was installed sucessfully, but I don't see it in programs or settings and don't know where to go from there. Help?

Re: Has anyone tried Winterface?
Its an icon replacement, nothing to run. Your icons never changed? Your start menu icon, along with taskbar icons should be quite different. It goes throughout winmo, but thats the most obvious.
