Has anyone removed the charging cover?
I find getting that bugger off a hassle beyond my previous phones. Any advice on yanking it off altogether? Am I leaving myself open to lint balls gathering in there? Worse?
Anyone done it? Once off would I be able to reinstall if I changed my mind? |

I did it, cause everytime i clipped my fingernails i couldnt get it open for a couple days. it was worth it to me to remove it, so i just clipped it off. now its convient

I would think you would be OK with it off. I used to always take the little rubber 'stopper' they include in a lot of cell phones and toss it as soon as I got it home. They say it can interfere with the contacts, but I never had it happen with other phones.
To feel safe, maybe pick-up a $2 can of condensed air and blow it out occasionally.
