Re: Changing the Opera cache location
I meant to ask you, isn't having the cache and stuff in Storage Card the same as having it on the device? Since that folder is in My Device? Wouldnt it be better to put it on My Storage?

Re: Changing the Opera cache location
If its on the Storage Card, its on the micro sdhc card.
If you dont have one, then yeah, put it on My Storage. |
Re: Changing the Opera cache location
Oh man. I am retarded. I forgot, I had a storage card and it started acting funny so I took it out. But I still have that folder on my device! I wonder should I just delete it or remap anything that is in it? I cant believe I forgot that I got that folder from when I put that storage card on there....
Edit: Ack, I noticed that now when I use Memmaid, it doesn't delete any of the files in the cache folder for Opera. I guess it doesnt know about the new location? |

I am a new Omni (Verizon) owner and just a little while ago tracked down the Opera cache as a memory eater. I had MemMaid set to clear Opera cache and it wasn't doing it. Gonna' move it to My Storage per Adrynalyne's post. Thanks for this! |
Re: Changing the Opera cache location
I have upgraded my rom to the V.cc20.20961. I have been trying to use the opera:config command to direct my opera memory cache to my storage card, but every time i go and hit save at the bottom and come back to it after doing a soft reset, it hasn't been saved. any help would be appreciated.
