Just tested it and it worked! No lock after dialing. The cab on the link above is called "modaco{1}{1}.omniapatcheddialer.cab.

The only thing I noiticed is I lost my 4 icons on the dial pad on the right. The buttons still work, but no icon telling me which one is for contacts, end call, backbutton. In order to remedy this I am also going to change my dialer to the one listed back on the samsung-omnia link listed above.

That is the older fix I posted in the hacks thread. The icons disapearing is why I don't do it. I can see both sides of wanting/not wanting the lock, but I don't want to lose any functionability in exchange (as you said, they may 'work', but you don't usually have time to study the screen and try to remember what is what on the screen LOL)!!!

I wll use the default winmo for now. Buttons are small, but spaced out.

Can you post a screenshot of it? I have been thinking about doing that, but I'm just not sure!!

Not bad! Thanks for posting it. I will think about it, but I do like a couple features of the Omnia screen....we'll see!!

How does one switch between these 2 dialers... cannot seen to find the sticky for it... NOOB for trying these hacks on my phone... worried... voyageurs60

I believe that is what you need to do to get that dialer. (Adrynalyne...correct me if I'm wrong there!!)
