Make sure you use the built in M2D Customizer to back up the current theme.

you have to use m2dc which is provided by Adryn provided i found mine over at MoDaCo here is the zip file that i have on my computer


Just put it in your themes folder for M2dc then click apply theme and you are good to go!! now off to flash Wozzers 6.5 rom woooo hooooo

Thanks for the reply. A few naive questions though. I don't know where to locate M2dc or even what it is. Also, why flash Wozzers rom if I already have Adryns 1.2 ROM? I don't have a "themes" folder set up at this time. Do you mean on my desktop computer or on the phone itself? I'll get you all back when we need to go into a dental discussion forum so please take your time with me and excuse my limited knowledge on all of this. This is like a foreign language for me, but I really do appreciate all the help and feedback. I need to be spoonfed this stuff like a newborn. Thanks so much.

I meant I was going to flash Wozzers rom! Anyway here we go!!

First off find a theme that you like download it to your desktop! hook up your phone to your computer using active sync. on your desk top open up your phone so you have access to all the files and programs on your phone.

open up program files then open up M2DC there will be a folder in there called Themes copy your theme that you downloaded into that folder. now go to your phone start>programs>M2DC (It looks like a cog) your newly installed theme should be there. click on it and apply theme and M@DC will do the rest.

FYI make sure you get a theme that will fit your phone i.e. QVGA

I've been using fingermenu from the begining and I love it. It's got a touch bug though. I can't place it but sometimes I have the hit a button two or three times for it to register. It may be motion related.

I haven't heard of fingersuit thought, what's it got in adition to fingermenu?

btw UPX the executable for fingermenu....It seems to render faster!

Thank you so much for the step by step instructions. I now see exactly what you're saying. I had limited time to try this last night, but from what I see, I cannot seem to find the M2dc folder nor the Themes folder when I download the zipfile, so I cannot assign that file to that folder. Is it necessary to open the file with the WinRar program and extract the file? Not sure what to do next. By the way, my apologies for misinterpreting what you said about flashing Wozzer's ROM. Is his ROM M2d also? Thanks.

Ignore the Wozzer's rom comment, its unrelated. M2DC is built in--check your programs list. Go to the last tab, back up your M2D settings and theme.

Then go to whichever other tab it is, add a theme. Probably the first tab. Browse to where you have the theme at, assuming its in the theme format.

Otherwise, simply take the graphics file from the theme, and dump them into \Windows, overwriting what it needs to. You will need Resco Explorer or Total Commander to get it done.

The M2DC folder is on your phone its built into the rom! you dont need to extract anything just put the whole zip file into said folder. you should really get Resco file explorer! Or something like it!

Thank you soooo much. Thanks bgill55 and Adrynalyne for your input. It worked and the theme downloaded perfectly. It looks awesome. Now onto something else. I've been able to access maps and directions and street view using Google maps. How do I actually use the GPS for things like POI's and driving navigation? Is there another program that needs to be downloaded to use these features? Thanks again.
