Thanks for all off your help! Here is the final product, there still seems to be a difference between the homescreen and the menu, but I can live with it.
I'm posting attachments because I can't figure out how to get the images in directly (LOL, what a noob!)

is there anyway you can use this with a darker back round like on you today screen i think the neon would look sweet on a darker image also can you swap some icons with different colors so that its not all blue i dont really care about text

Adrynalyne, I'm having trouble with something. I downloaded and installed that Faustas main menu cab.file that you created, but I can't seem to be able to apply it to my today 2 screen. I don't see any options for that. I just wanted to check it out.
